Job Summary

The Waterways and Shipping Authority (WSA) Ostsee is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineering Project Engineer to manage complex infrastructure projects focused on nautical and maritime technology. Initially, the role involves planning, tendering, and executing construction measures for specialized electrical, power, and communications systems, including low-voltage, DC generator facilities, underwater cable systems, and physical measurement technology (magnet fields). This includes creating technical designs, drafting tender documents, and managing contract execution. Following the completion of the current major project (expected 2030/2031), the focus shifts to Maritime Traffic Technology, where the engineer will oversee the entire lifecycle of distributed services, manage technical operations, specify new hardware/software acquisitions, and develop training concepts for nautical and maintenance personnel.
