This role involves providing high-level conceptual and coordination support to the Vice President of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), specifically overseeing departments 1 to 5. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and following up on appointments, contributing to the strategic development of the office, and coordinating internal and external communications. Key tasks include quality assurance of documents, research, and content preparation. The position requires a Master's degree, preferably in administrative sciences, strong knowledge of BAMF's operational areas, and excellent communication skills. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in a scientific field, preferably Administrative Sciences, with a minimum grade of "good".

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration (ideally long-term)
  • In-depth knowledge of all BAMF task areas (Asylum, Integration, Migration, Return, Administration)
  • Knowledge of BAMF's organizational structure and processes
  • Knowledge of the political-strategic environment of the Federal Office

German (Fluent)English (Basic)

Additional

  • Consent to and successful completion of an extended security clearance (Ü 2) according to § 9 SÜG. Willingness to undertake occasional one-to-several-day business trips within Germany. Foreign university degrees require a comparability and recognition statement from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). Participation in an in-person Assessment Center in Nuremberg.
