Doctoral Researcher in Translational Immunotherapy | 580-2025 Doktorand (m/w/d) im Bereich Translationale Immuntherapie
Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg Medizinischer Bereich
Job Summary
This position is for a highly motivated Doctoral Researcher (65% part-time) to join the newly established 'Translational Immunotherapy' research group at the University Hospital Magdeburg. The successful candidate will actively contribute to innovative research projects focused on T-cell receptor (TCR)-based T-cell therapies, spanning from basic research to clinical translation. Day-to-day tasks involve performing cutting-edge molecular biology techniques, including PCR-based amplifications, cloning, and vector construction, alongside utilizing high-throughput technologies like 10x Genomics for single-cell characterization and TCR identification. The role also requires bioinformatic processing of sequencing data, work with in vitro and in vivo models (specifically syngeneic mouse cancer models), and conducting animal experiments. This is an attractive opportunity for a candidate with strong foundational knowledge in immunology and molecular biology who is eager to publish scientific results and collaborate internationally, particularly with partners like the David and Etta Jonas Center in Chicago.
