Job Summary

The Friedrich Schiller University Jena is seeking a Technical Assistant to join the Chair of Clinical Psychology, focusing on the research and treatment of mental disorders from a neuroscientific perspective. This role is crucial for supporting national and international research projects, particularly those examining social interaction, tactile stimuli, and olfactory processes in mental health. Day-to-day responsibilities involve preparing, executing, and analyzing (neuro-)psychological experiments, including precise data collection, processing, and documentation. The assistant will also manage laboratory equipment, handle material procurement, and provide essential administrative support, such as scheduling and communication. The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification (e.g., TA, CTA, BTA, MTA) and demonstrates curiosity, independence, structured work habits, and strong teamwork skills.
