Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to the digital future of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) by working on critical IT infrastructure projects. You will be instrumental in operating and developing the PRADA Webservice, a containerized microservice architecture running within the pCloudBw Data Analytics Platform (DAP). Day-to-day responsibilities include orchestrating and automating DevOps processes, optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab and Nexus, and maintaining the PRADA Webservice based on PaaS/IaaS platforms. A strong background in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), Linux system administration, and excellent Python skills (Fast API, Django) are essential. This position requires a minimum of six years of relevant professional experience post-graduation and offers the opportunity to contribute to Germany's security through challenging digitalization projects across various BWI locations nationwide.
