Job Summary

The City Library of Hannover is seeking a dedicated Specialist/Administrator to manage grant funding and financial operations within its central administration. This crucial role involves identifying, researching, and acquiring external third-party funds for significant projects, developing a long-term funding strategy for the library department, and providing expert consultation and support during the grant application process. Day-to-day responsibilities also include the responsible handling of decentralized budgetary affairs, performing budget controlling, and managing budget planning for the Cultural Management staff unit. Ideal candidates must hold a completed university degree, preferably in Public Administration or Administrative Sciences, or possess equivalent professional qualifications such as the successful completion of the Employee Training Course II. Extensive legal knowledge in budget and financial administration is mandatory.
