Job Summary

This challenging and varied role involves serving as an internal organizational consultant within the city administration, focusing on the Personnel and Organization department. The specialist will primarily advise various city departments, offices, and municipal enterprises on a wide range of organizational issues, often under tight deadlines. Key responsibilities include conducting systematic organizational studies, optimizing business processes, performing job evaluations, and assessing staffing needs (Stellenmehrbedarfe). You will be responsible for preparing independent decision proposals regarding fundamental organizational changes and cross-departmental matters for administrative and departmental management. Success in this position requires a background in public administration or law, strong legal application knowledge, self-organization, conflict resolution skills, and experience in project management. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma (FH)) in Administrative Sciences, Law, Municipal Administrative Management, or Public Administration, OR Qualification for career group 2, first entry level, General Services, OR Successful completion of Angestelltenlehrgang II (Employee Training Course II) or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Preferably at least 2 years of professional experience in the higher service in at least two different departments of the LHH or in a public administration
  • Professional experience in the application of legal frameworks and overall administration
