Job Summary

The City of Dresden is seeking a Specialist Coordinator for Finance and Controlling to manage cross-departmental financial and investment steering within the Urban Development, Construction, Transport, and Real Estate division. This permanent, full-time role involves developing concrete financing strategies, evaluating short-, medium-, and long-term financing concepts, and coordinating grant management processes. Day-to-day tasks include continuous monitoring and reporting on planning goals, conducting investment controlling, and performing organizational weakness analyses in financial processes. The coordinator will also be responsible for preparing and managing budget planning, execution, and year-end closing for the division management, including asset accounting. Candidates must possess a completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Administration, or a comparable field. Desirable qualifications include professional experience in controlling, budgeting, and grant management, alongside strong commercial expertise and proficiency in SAP.
