This role involves structuring, planning, and organizing the implementation and application of an energy management system for the city of Dresden's municipal properties. The specialist will be responsible for drafting and adapting energy policies, collecting and evaluating energy consumption data, setting savings targets, and developing optimization measures. Key responsibilities include moderating the energy team, ensuring the implementation of municipal energy management measures across properties, and conducting technical and economic analyses of electricity, heating, and water consumption. The position also requires monitoring compliance with legal regulations, preparing energy reports, and training facility managers and users on energy-saving practices. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until December 31, 2028, requiring a university degree in a relevant engineering field.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical-engineering university degree (Diploma, Bachelor) in Energy Economics, Energy and Environmental Technology, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in working with energy management systems (Desirable)
