Job Summary
This permanent, part-time (50%) role involves serving as the Management Assistant for the Institute for Geosystems and Bioindication (IGeo) at the Technical University of Braunschweig. The core responsibilities include leading the institute's office, managing administrative tasks related to budgeting and project administration, and preparing annual and final utilization reports. Day-to-day duties involve general secretarial work such as scheduling, preparing personnel matters, processing travel expense reports, and handling procurement. The assistant acts as the crucial interface between the institute and the central university administration, manages administrative support for courses, and maintains the institute's databases and website. Candidates must possess a completed German administrative qualification (Verwaltungslehrgang I or equivalent), proven experience in secretarial and organizational tasks, and proficiency in SAP R/3 and MS Office applications.
Required Skills
Education
Completion of Administrative Course I (Verwaltungslehrgang I) or equivalent professional training (e.g., Administrative Specialist, Office Communication Specialist, or Office Management Clerk) obtained from a public-sector employer.
Experience
