Technician for Structural Implementation of Road Construction Measures | Techniker\*in zur baulichen Umsetzung von Straßenbaumaßnahmen (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves the structural implementation and management of road modification and renewal projects within the Mobility and Transport department of the City of Aachen. The Technician will be responsible for executing project phases 6-9 of the HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), which includes detailed volume and cost calculation, construction supervision, billing, acceptance, and warranty control. Key activities involve coordinating construction work both internally within the administration and externally with partners, monitoring project-related budget resources, and providing input for fixed asset accounting upon project completion. The ideal candidate must possess a degree as a certified technician in civil engineering (Tiefbau) or equivalent technical training, coupled with strong technical knowledge of road construction, modern civil engineering structures, and excellent management and communication skills to navigate complex administrative environments.
