Job Summary
The IT Supporter acts as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues raised by employees within the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software, alongside providing crucial support for network and system administration tasks. A key part of the role involves diagnosing and resolving faults across various IT systems, meticulously documenting all support cases and IT processes. Furthermore, the supporter will be responsible for conducting training and orientation sessions for staff on the effective use of IT tools and actively participating in ongoing IT projects and improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a service-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills who is looking to apply their technical expertise within a motivated and future-oriented team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or comparable qualification in Informatics or IT Systems Electronics
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support, ideally gained within a medium-sized company
- Proven ability to perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
- Experience in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting across diverse IT systems
