Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join one of Europe's leading IT service providers, supporting the Federal IT Center (ITZ Bund). The IT Client Technician will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of end-user devices and providing essential First and Second Level technical support. Daily tasks include processing service requests and incident reports via a ticketing system, installing and deploying end devices in the staging environment using SCCM, and managing user accounts and machine objects within Active Directory, ensuring thorough documentation and asset tracking. Key qualifications include a completed vocational qualification in IT systems (such as IT Specialist for System Integration) and at least three years of experience in technical support. Proficiency with MS 365, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory is mandatory. The position offers a competitive salary between €36,000 and €40,000, regulated working hours (Mon-Fri), and strong prospects for permanent employment within a modern, innovative company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • 3 years of professional experience in technical First / Second Level Support
  • Professional experience with end device staging and deployment processes
  • Experience in managing and documenting IT assets
