Job Summary
This specialist role focuses on coordinating the dedicated time management application (likely LogaHR) for the City of Potsdam administration. Day-to-day tasks involve ensuring the system's continuous functional operation, developing essential work instructions, configuring user roles and parameters, and providing technical first-level support and troubleshooting for staff across the entire administration. A core responsibility is driving the digital transformation of HR processes, including conceptualizing and implementing new workflows and software modules, such as electronic time recording. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in fields like Administrative Informatics or Public Administration, possess professional experience in the public sector, and demonstrate deep expertise in time management principles (e.g., calculating vacation entitlements) and relevant data protection legislation (DSGVO, OZG). This is a full-time, permanent position within a growing municipal authority.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or University of Applied Sciences degree (FH-Abschluss) in Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, Public Administration, or certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/-in) or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the public sector
- High level of professional expertise in Time Management (e.g., vacation and remaining vacation entitlements)
- Experience with Personnel/HR software (desirable)
Languages
Additional
- Knowledge of German and Brandenburg specific laws related to data protection and e-government, including BDSG, DSGVO, BbgDSG, BSIG, OZG, EGovG, and BbgEGovG. Full-time, permanent employment contract.
