Job Summary

This role involves executing complex 3D measurement series on powertrain and vehicle components, utilizing advanced 3D measurement systems like Zeiss/Leitz. The Geometrical Measurement Technician will be responsible for programming, operating, and evaluating both the hardware and software of these systems. Key daily tasks include analyzing measurement results, identifying discrepancies, and initiating corrective actions in coordination with development teams. Furthermore, the technician manages measurement orders and data, and prepares measurement objects in collaboration with engineering staff. Candidates should possess a background in Geometrical Measurement Technology, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, coupled with practical experience in 3D metrology from concept to execution. This is a crucial position requiring strong analytical skills, independence, and the ability to communicate effectively in both German and English at a business fluent level, offering a future-oriented, permanent contract with flexible working hours.

Required Skills

Education

Engineer, Technician, or Master in Geometrical Measurement Technology, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field; Relevant certificates for the operation and programming of 3D measuring machines

Experience

  • Practical experience in 3D metrology, from conception to operational implementation
  • Experience in planning and executing complex 3D measurement series on powertrain and vehicle components
  • Experience in programming, operating, and evaluating 3D measurement systems (e.g., Zeiss/Leitz)
