Job Summary

This role is centered on the hands-on development, maintenance, and testing of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) powertrains and associated aggregate components. The technician will be responsible for the assembly, mounting, disassembly, and repair of development engines, alongside analyzing and resolving complex faults and malfunctions. A critical part of the job involves installing and commissioning sophisticated measurement technology, conducting functional checks, and performing tests on development engines and their systems. Successful candidates must hold a degree in Mechatronics, be a certified Mechatronics Technician, or possess equivalent technical vocational training in Automotive Mechatronics or Electrics. Essential requirements include profound expertise in evaluating engine and component functions, deep knowledge of powertrain and vehicle technologies, and mandatory possession of a valid HV2 (High Voltage Level 2) qualification. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Mechatronics, Certified Mechatronics Technician (State-certified), or Technical vocational training in Automotive Mechatronics or Automotive Electrics (or comparable qualification)

Experience

  • Professional expertise in the analysis and evaluation of motor, aggregate, and component functions
  • Deep knowledge of powertrain and vehicle technologies and engine development
  • Experience working securely with diagnostic and IT-supported systems for technical development, documentation, and measurement evaluation
