Job Summary

The Hardware Architecture Development Engineer is crucial for defining the technical foundation and driving the evolution of new product hardware generations. This role requires conducting comprehensive hardware architecture studies and translating intricate system requirements into precise specifications for individual components. You will actively collaborate with local design teams to implement these concepts and provide continuous support throughout the development lifecycle. Furthermore, the engineer is expected to contribute strategically by shaping the product roadmap and crafting tailored solutions alongside internal stakeholders. Successful applicants must possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications, coupled with substantial, proven experience in the analysis and definition of complex electrical systems. Essential knowledge of safety-critical electronics and environmental qualifications, such as climate and EMC standards, is required. Given the international nature of the work, fluent communication in both German and English is mandatory.
