Job Summary
This role seeks an Embedded Software Developer to join ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH on a permanent contract. The primary responsibilities include developing firmware using C and C++ for ARM-based microcontrollers and programming both microcontrollers and Embedded Linux systems. The developer will also be responsible for thorough documentation, conducting unit tests, and performing validation testing to ensure product quality and continuous software improvement. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics, or Mechatronics and possess proficiency with standard embedded development toolchains. Experience with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, or Automotive Ethernet, and ideally Embedded Linux, is required.
