Job Summary

The University of Rostock is seeking a Research Associate in Power Electronics to join the Institute for Electrical Energy Technology, focusing on a project titled "Noise Reduction in Generators for Wind Turbines." This full-time, fixed-term position (until January 31, 2029) involves researching control procedures for 10 MW generators and designing and implementing a 100 kW machine test bench. Day-to-day tasks include developing both analog and digital electronic modules and programming DSPs and FPGAs. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering with excellent knowledge of power electronics and control engineering, coupled with experience in converter control and micro-controller/DSP programming.
