This role involves managing and steering civil engineering aspects within challenging new construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects for university facilities in Münster, including the University of Münster and the FH Münster. The Civil Engineer will work in interdisciplinary teams, focusing on complex building usage and specialized solutions for seminar, laboratory, and office spaces. Key responsibilities include selecting and commissioning external contractors, managing timelines, budgets, and costs, and potentially handling all service phases (1-9) of the HOAI. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering (Underground/Civil focus), knowledge of HOAI service phases, and familiarity with German procurement and contract law (VgV, VOB). Education

Experience

  • Knowledge of the service phases 1 to 9 of the HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers)
  • Knowledge of German procurement and contract law (e.g., VgV, VOB)
  • Knowledge of relevant legal regulations (e.g., WHG, BBodSchG)
