Job Summary

This role offers an exciting interdisciplinary opportunity within the Institute for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, focusing on autoimmunity research within the Immunopharmacology working group. The Technical Assistant will be responsible for a wide array of laboratory techniques essential for research, including molecular biology tasks such as PCR, qPCR, cloning, and genotyping. Key responsibilities also involve cell biology, including primary cell isolation, cell culture, and flow cytometry, alongside biochemical techniques like Western Blot, protein purification, and immunoprecipitation. Furthermore, the role requires histological work, such as tissue processing, sectioning, and immunostaining. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training as a Technical Assistant (e.g., BTA) or equivalent qualification, extensive methodological skills, and very good English proficiency, demonstrating high motivation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
