Job Summary
This role supports cutting-edge research at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein's Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology, focusing on genetic and lifestyle factors influencing inflammatory skin diseases, aiming to predict disease progression and identify new biomarkers. The Laboratory Assistant will be crucial in processing study samples, including isolating PBMCs from blood and cells from skin tissue, ensuring meticulous documentation and archiving in databases. Daily responsibilities involve extensive use of molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA/Protein isolation, PCR, quantitative PCR, multiplex ELISA (Luminex), and Western Blot (WES). Furthermore, the role includes preparing sequencing libraries for single-cell sequencing, performing flow cytometry (FACS), and working with cell cultures, including the creation of 3D skin models. Candidates must possess a completed BTA or MTLA qualification, strong proficiency in standard Office applications, and fluent English skills for protocol comprehension and communication with international scientists. This is a full-time position, initially temporary for two years, offering work with modern methodologies and further training opportunities.

- Professional experience in cell biology techniques, including flow cytometry and cell culture
