Job Summary

This role is based within the Institute for Hospital and Environmental Hygiene at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH). As a key member of an accredited environmental chemistry laboratory, you will focus on chemical water analysis. Your daily responsibilities include performing routine analytical tests on various water samples in compliance with legal standards. You will operate and maintain state-of-the-art analytical equipment, including ICP-MS, GC-MS(MS), and LC-MS(MS) systems. Beyond testing, you will handle sample preparation, optimize analytical procedures, and ensure rigorous quality assurance.
