Job Summary
This critical role seeks an Electrical Engineering Technician to ensure the continuous, smooth operation of technical infrastructure within the Technical Monitoring Center supporting the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA). Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring low and medium voltage power supply facilities, operating and managing various Building Management Technology (GLT) systems, and overseeing the management system for fire alarm installations. The position requires mandatory 24/7 shift coverage, including weekends and holidays, focusing heavily on the rapid analysis of alarm messages and targeted fault elimination. You will also perform minor maintenance on essential systems like UPS, emergency power, and large battery facilities, and supervise external contractors. Candidates must hold a State-certified Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering or possess a completed vocational training in the field combined with at least five years of relevant professional experience. This is a demanding yet highly meaningful role within a federal authority, requiring significant flexibility and a Class B driving license.

Languages
