Job Summary

This Senior Infrastructure/Platform Engineer role is crucial for the DevSecOps Engineering department, supporting the IT-Security Competence Center for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The core responsibilities include building, operating, and ensuring the security and scalability of a Kubernetes infrastructure within air-gapped data centers. A strong emphasis is placed on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation principles, including the development of a container-based Edge Computing environment as a product. You will communicate with stakeholders, maintain meticulous technical documentation, and operate within an agile team structure. Candidates must possess a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience, excellent Kubernetes skills, and strong knowledge of Linux system hardening, virtualization, and network storage solutions.
