Job Summary
This role is for a Traffic Systems Technician based within the Civil Engineering Office (Tiefbauamt), focusing on the planning, implementation, and maintenance of critical urban traffic infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently planning street lighting facilities and comprehensive traffic technology systems, which includes conducting market research, developing concepts, creating detailed specifications, and managing the tendering and procurement processes. A key component of the job involves coordination and participation in construction projects related to traffic systems, as well as executing routine maintenance and repair work. Candidates must possess a successfully completed qualification as a State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, demonstrate a high degree of commitment, strong methodological competence, and hold a valid car driver's license. This is a permanent, full-time position offering public sector compensation (TVöD EG 9b), flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.
