This role involves supporting the Civil Engineering Office with a focus on structural monitoring and infrastructure management. As a Civil Engineering Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting visual inspections and walk-throughs of engineering structures, documenting defects, and assessing damage progression. You will also manage price inquiries, conduct market research for testing equipment, and handle the processing of heavy-load transport permits (GST) via the VEMAGS portal, ensuring route safety and structural integrity. The ideal candidate holds a state-certified technician qualification in civil engineering and demonstrates high resilience and cost-consciousness.
