Job Summary
This PhD position, part of the DFG-funded Research Training Group (RTG) 3095, focuses on elucidating the mechanisms of dysregulated B-cell function in the pathogenesis of Crohn’s disease (CD) within subproject P08. The successful candidate will conduct independent doctoral research, actively participate in the RTG's structured graduate training, and present findings within the research consortium. This role is ideal for a highly motivated life science professional holding a Master's degree and seeking to apply advanced molecular, cellular, and bioinformatics techniques, including single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, in cutting-edge immunological research. Master's degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences or a related discipline
Experience
