Job Summary

GlobalFoundries, a leading global semiconductor manufacturer, is seeking an Electronics Technician to join their repair workshop team. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency by performing complex troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies, including power supplies, generators, motor drivers, and control systems, often without existing circuit documentation. The technician will manage spare parts, continuously improve repair capabilities by developing custom analysis and test units, and actively participate in continuous improvement processes. Key qualifications include a completed vocational qualification and practical professional experience, ideally complemented by a Master Technician or Certified Technician degree. Candidates must possess advanced knowledge in electronic circuit technology, modern electronic components (especially power electronics and control technology), and modern measurement techniques. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience solving complex problems under pressure, and basic English skills. This is a full-time, permanent position primarily operating in a day shift, with willingness to work in rotating shifts if required.
