Job Summary

The Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg is seeking a full-time Research Associate for a fixed-term position until December 31, 2026, within the Institute for Molecular Medicine. This role focuses on cutting-edge molecular research, specifically involving the establishment of 3D tumor cell culture models and performing scRNA-seq analyses and CRISPR screens. The successful candidate will be responsible for independent project management, scientific documentation, presentation, and publication of results, and participation in national collaborations. Key qualifications include a scientific university degree (Master/Diploma) in Biochemistry, established expertise in tissue processing, 3D cell culture, and single-cell RNA sequencing, along with proficiency in R and/or Python. This position offers the opportunity for further scientific qualification and requires strong analytical skills, a structured work approach, and excellent command of both German (C1) and English.
