Job Summary

This role involves supporting the 'Kidney Immunology' research group at the Erlangen University Hospital, focusing on the immune response following kidney transplantation and developing new therapeutic approaches to prevent graft rejection. The successful candidate will primarily conduct animal experiments using rat and mouse models, including surgical procedures such as kidney and skin transplantation. Depending on interest, the role may also involve advanced laboratory analytical methods like cell culture and flow cytometry. Key requirements include a completed veterinary medicine degree, a strong interest in experimental animal work, and the motivation to learn new methods.
