Job Summary

This role offers an extensive, hands-on training opportunity to become a German and European Patent Attorney within one of Europe's most renowned Intellectual Property law firms, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT, located in Frankfurt. The candidate will gain comprehensive insight into all facets of industrial property protection. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting experienced Patent Attorneys in client consultation, drafting patent applications in collaboration with inventors, and formulating opinions on the success prospects of applications based on search reports and examination decisions. The role also involves participating in oral hearings and supporting opposition and appeal proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) and the European Patent Office (EPO). Ideal candidates possess a strong university degree, potentially a doctorate, in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or IT, coupled with initial professional technical experience, excellent analytical skills, and fluent proficiency in both German and English.
