Job Summary

This role offers a comprehensive training path to become a dual-qualified German and European Patent Attorney within a prestigious Intellectual Property firm. On a day-to-day basis, you will support experienced attorneys in advising clients, drafting patent applications in collaboration with inventors, and formulating legal opinions on patentability based on search reports and examination notices. You will actively participate in oral proceedings and support opposition and appeal cases before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) and the European Patent Office (EPO). The position is particularly attractive as it includes a fully funded distance learning law degree, flexible working hours, and a structured mentorship program. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (with very good grades); a Doctorate (PhD) is highly preferred.

Experience

  • Proven track record of high academic achievement in chemical sciences
