Job Summary

The M365 Engineer will serve as the central point of contact, internal expert, and consultant for all matters related to the Microsoft 365 product world. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the planning, rollout, and continuous development of M365 products and services, defining governance structures (processes, guidelines), and ensuring technical foundations like integration capabilities and permissions. A key focus is implementing technical security and compliance requirements, such as Conditional Access, DLP, Auditing, and MFA, while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., KAIT, DORA, GDPR). The role also involves coordinating administration, monitoring, and 2nd/3rd-level support for M365 services, managing external service providers, and actively supporting the integration of new services into the M365 environment. Candidates should possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent, multiple years of professional experience with core M365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform), and strong expertise in administration and automation (e.g., PowerShell). Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
