Job Summary

The M365 Engineer will serve as the central expert and consultant for all matters concerning the Microsoft 365 product world within a major insurance and financial services company. Key responsibilities include planning, rolling out, and continuously developing M365 products and services, defining governance structures (processes, guidelines), and ensuring technical foundations like integration capabilities and permissions. A significant focus is placed on security and compliance, involving the technical implementation of Conditional Access, DLP, Auditing, and MFA, while adhering to regulatory requirements (e.g., KAIT, DORA, GDPR). The role requires coordinating administration, monitoring, and 2nd/3rd-level support, managing external service providers, and actively supporting the integration of new services into the M365 ecosystem. Candidates must possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent, multiple years of professional experience with core M365 services, and strong expertise in administration and automation, ideally within the financial services sector.
