Job Summary

This role involves supporting the 'DNA Analysis, Genetic Engineering in Food, Allergens, Species Differentiation' laboratory team at the Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office (CVUA) Freiburg. The technician will primarily focus on analyzing food samples using advanced molecular biology and protein analysis techniques, including ELISA, Real-Time PCR, digital PCR, DNA sequencing, and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). Key responsibilities include independent evaluation of results, data entry into the LIMS system, and assisting in establishing new analytical methods. The ideal candidate holds a relevant vocational qualification (CTA, VMTA, MTA, MTV, or Chemical Laboratory Assistant), possesses a precise and careful working style, technical understanding, and experience with laboratory information systems.
