Job Summary

This role is for an IT Field Service Technician based in Düsseldorf, joining an expanding IT consulting firm specializing in Information and Communication Technology services. The technician will be responsible for providing essential IT support and maintenance, focusing on hardware and operating systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing data backups, managing the PC inventory, installing operating systems and various application programs, and handling the assembly and disassembly of both new and used hardware. A core function is delivering standard IMAC services (Install, Move, Add, Change). The ideal candidate must have a completed IT-sector education (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration or IT System Electronics Technician) or equivalent professional experience. Essential requirements include knowledge of hardware, peripherals, and common Microsoft operating systems, coupled with good German and English language skills and a Class B driver's license.
