Job Summary

This role involves supporting the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) Geo-Information Service (GeoInfoDBw) in Euskirchen by managing and overseeing IT projects. The engineer will act as the user representative for the Cyber and Information Space organization during the utilization phase of the procurement process. Key responsibilities include assisting project leadership with creating phase documents, determining resource requirements, conducting financial needs analyses, and preparing for and executing acceptance tests for IT system regenerations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Informatics, Mathematics, or Physics and possesses basic English language skills. Experience in logistics, budgeting procedures within procurement, and project management (specifically CPM) is highly desirable.
