Job Summary

This is a leadership role within the Stuttgart City Building Department, focusing on managing and driving the digitalization strategy and IT operations. The Head of Department will oversee nine employees, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of all digital and technical resources, and leading the introduction of new digital processes. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, change management, implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM), managing the IT budget, and coordinating all IT projects and communication (IuK). The role requires a university degree in Informatics or a related technical field, extensive IT experience in the specified areas, and strong leadership skills. The successful candidate will act as the primary IT contact for the department, advising on major software implementations like RIB iTWO, and coordinating closely with central city IT services, contributing fundamentally to the city's construction and renovation projects.
