Job Summary

This pivotal role involves joining a high-impact Data Science team focusing on demand forecasting and menu personalization across global markets. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continually improving advanced time series and causal demand forecasting models, directly influencing HelloFresh's global supply chain efficiency. Daily tasks include taking technical ownership of models from data collection through to operationalization, shaping future forecasting strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and demand planning. The ideal candidate brings a proven scientific background (Master's/PhD preferred) and 3+ years of experience in demand forecasting. Essential technical skills include fluency in Python (scientific stack), strong statistical modeling capabilities, and familiarity with state-of-the-art technologies like AWS, PySpark, Airflow, and MLOps tools. This position also requires mentoring junior team members and acting as a critical problem solver and ambassador for data-driven strategies.
