Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated Operations Technician specializing in Heating, Ventilation, Sanitary, and Cooling (HLSK) systems to join the Technical and Building department at a higher education institution. The core responsibilities include the independent operational management, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of complex HLSK installations. The technician will also be responsible for updating and maintaining system documentation and providing expert consultation to Technical Operations Management on all HLSK matters. Successful candidates must possess completed vocational training in the HLSK field, coupled with a subsequent qualification as a Master Craftsman or Certified Technician. This position demands strong technical understanding, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform interdisciplinary tasks within the building services team.
