This role seeks a Senior IT Support Specialist to join a top German engineering and IT service provider, focusing on delivering high-quality technical assistance and system administration. The core responsibilities involve managing the full lifecycle of customer IT inquiries, handling support requests efficiently via phone and ticketing systems, and providing hands-on administration and monitoring of diverse client systems. You will be responsible for managing critical IT infrastructure, including Windows Clients, Windows Servers, Linux environments, storage, network components, and firewalls. Candidates must possess a completed IT qualification and at least three years of dedicated support experience, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem, including MS Office 365. Success requires excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues, a structured work approach, and proficiency in both German and English.
