Job Summary

This role is ideal for a PhD candidate or researcher focused on cutting-edge Embedded Artificial Intelligence within a leading micro-systems technology research institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing industry-funded, customer-specific, and publicly funded R&D projects within the Artificial Intelligence research group. Core activities involve algorithm development in areas like Deep Learning and Federated Learning, practical software implementation using C/C++ and Python, and conducting computer experiments. The results will be applied across diverse fields, including Industrial Automation, Environmental Technology, and Medical Technology (Industry 4.0/Cyber-physical systems). This position requires strong programming skills, experience with embedded devices, and a background in MINT fields like Computer Science or Embedded Systems, alongside excellent English proficiency and a willingness to learn German.
