Job Summary

The Head of Medical IT at Charité – one of Europe's largest university hospitals – is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the Medical IT department. This critical role involves overseeing the planning, control, and development of all IT systems and applications supporting clinical operations, including clinical information systems and digital workflows. The successful candidate will lead interdisciplinary teams of IT specialists, system administrators, and project managers, fostering a service-oriented and user-centric approach. Key responsibilities include managing complex digitalization projects, ensuring compliance with quality, security, and data protection standards, and advising clinical stakeholders on IT strategy implementation.
