Job Summary

This Security Architect role is essential for the IT Security department at Charité, focusing on securing complex technological innovations within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for anticipating threat scenarios, deriving critical security requirements, and designing the overall IT security architecture for the organization. Key daily activities include implementing and ensuring the effective, uninterrupted operation of security solutions, establishing IT emergency operations, and developing comprehensive Security Incident Response plans and workflows. Furthermore, the architect will manage the setup and configuration of Identity and Access Control systems. Applicants must hold a completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field and bring at least four years of professional experience in IT security within large infrastructure environments. The position requires expert knowledge in administering EDR and SIEM solutions, alongside strong technical skills in TCP/IP, DNS, Linux, and various authentication methods.
