Job Summary

This Senior Scientist role is a critical position within the Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADC) Bioconjugation Team, focusing on the production of ADCs for discovery projects and the innovation of new bioconjugate concepts. The successful candidate will leverage extensive hands-on expertise in site-specific protein bioconjugation techniques, coupled with proficiency in downstream processing, purification methods, and advanced analytical tools like HPLC and mass spectrometry. A preferred Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a related field, along with 2-5 years of industry experience in ADCs, is required. The position demands a deep understanding of ADC mechanisms and applications, strong leadership, and project management capabilities, including the ability to mentor junior scientists. Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree, preferably a Ph.D., in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field; A publication record in peer-reviewed journals and/or patents related to bioconjugation or drug development.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of industry experience in antibody-drug conjugates
  • Extensive hands-on expertise in protein bioconjugation techniques
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Experience mentoring junior scientists
  • Experience in collaboration with external Contract Research Organizations (CROs) (a plus)
  • Experience with lab automation (a plus)
