Job Summary
The Technical University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg is seeking a Laboratory Master Technician for the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Physics, and General Sciences. This role is crucial for supporting various physics and technology labs, including those focused on Lasers, Optical Quantum Technologies, Medical Technology, Microscopy, Plasma, Photovoltaics, Sensor Technology, and Ultrasound. Day-to-day responsibilities involve preparing experimental setups for physics courses, assisting with practical lab supervision, and implementing new setups using precision engineering and mechatronics. The technician will also be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, implementing digital measurement data acquisition and analysis, and administering laboratory computers. Candidates must hold a Master Technician or Technician qualification in Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology, possess basic physics knowledge, and demonstrate strong IT skills in networking, Windows, and data processing.
