Job Summary
This permanent role as a Web IT Domain Architect, situated within the City of Stuttgart's central IT department (DO.IT), is pivotal for advancing municipal digitalization. The incumbent will take ownership of the architecture, strategy, and standardization for all city-wide browser platforms, including Firefox, Edge, and Safari. Key daily responsibilities involve developing and implementing a comprehensive browser strategy to ensure secure, efficient, and future-proof access to digital services, while defining strict standards and security guidelines compliant with BSI-Grundschutz. The role also requires coordinating projects, providing strategic consulting, and performing quality assurance with various implementation partners. Candidates must hold a completed scientific university degree, preferably in Computer Science, combined with several years of relevant professional experience. Experience in project execution, technical concept creation, and advanced programming knowledge, especially in interface development, are essential prerequisites for this challenging position.
