Job Summary
This is a leadership role within the Office for Digitalization, Organization, and IT (Do.IT) for the City of Stuttgart, focusing on actively shaping the digital future of the municipal administration. The Team Lead for the 'E-File Project' is responsible for the technical direction and organizational management of a team of up to ten employees, driving the introduction and continuous development of the city-wide E-File and Document Management System (DMS). Day-to-day tasks involve prioritizing team assignments, fostering internal communication, and steering the project execution while ensuring adherence to defined standards, timeframes, and quality metrics. The role acts as a central coordinator, advising departments on digital file process transitions, and representing the project in internal committees and external partnerships. This position is ideal for an experienced project manager with a background in public administration or comparable complex organizational environments who is ready to lead significant digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Master/Diploma) in Administrative Sciences or a comparable field; Alternatively, civil servants of the higher administrative service (minimum A 13 gD) who are willing and able to successfully complete the advancement course.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a leadership function
- Several years of professional experience in steering complex projects in the public sector or comparable organizations
- Professional experience with digital transformation projects

- Must be eligible for salary group A 13 hD / pay grade 15 TVöD; Must be able to work in Stuttgart.
