The University of Potsdam Library is seeking a part-time Technical Support Specialist to join the Digital Services department. This role focuses on providing essential hardware and software support for staff computers, research workstations, and general library technology, primarily across the Neues Palais and Griebnitzsee locations. Key daily tasks include troubleshooting IT issues, assisting with the management of over 300 workstations and a modern server park, and contributing to documentation and statistical reporting. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT vocational training or equivalent knowledge, strong proficiency in Windows operating systems, and basic programming skills.
